So much has seemed to happen in such a short amount of time. I have so much to share from last weekend, it was crazy busy!
Last Friday a co-worker (Danny) and I headed to Bedford for some training for work. We made plans that before we went to our class Friday morning we would go out for breakfast. Well I have got to tell you that breakfast was so awesome! We went to Cora’s.
If you have never been here for breakfast or lunch, RUN! Don’t walk … RUN! The breakfast is fantastic! I really enjoyed the food. Half the menu items come with "a mountain of fresh fruit", and the fruit was indeed very fresh and beautifully presented. The prices are a bit steep to dine every day, but for special occasions it's a nice place for a really good breakfast or brunch. Our food was so pretty I couldn’t eat it without taking pictures, lol!
Let me know if you have gone there and what you thought of it in my comments.
So after our great breakfast and a morning of training we headed out for lunch and a stroll around the mall to pass the time. The following are pictures of Danny being funny in the middle of the mall, I am glad it wasn’t busy, lol!!
Last Saturday was our first snowstorm here; of course this was the weekend we chose to reschedule our girl’s night out. (Those of you that read my blog will remember that just the weekend before we had plans made but because of tropical storm Noel we had to cancel.) Well Donna and Lee Ann made it to my house but we ended up not going where we had planned but we did get out for the evening. Thanks for the fun evening, despite the storm, girls! Thanks to my chauffeur hubby for driving us in the snow. ;o)
Here is a picture of my new boots I wore when we went out. These boots are higher than I am used to wearing but being that I am only 5’ tall; it was nice to wear these and be able to look some people in the eye, lol!
Last Sunday was Lisa’s little girl, Kealey’s, 2nd birthday party so we headed to Liverpool to visit with them for a while. I can’t believe how big Kealey is getting. Oh they grow too fast!! She received lots of nice gifts and had and adorable cake with the Backyardigans on it. Here is a slideshow of the pictures from the birthday evening.
I guess, Part two.

1)Wow the fruit dish looks great! I've never been to Cora's yet but I'm enticed!
2)The storm didn't amount to much here I guess it blew off before hand.
3)Sounds like you had a great time with the girls and your new kickers!
4)Happy birthday to Kealey!! The cake looks delish!
LOVE the boots. I have 4 different pairs of black boots. My husband doesn't understand why I need so many shoes, men!
I am afraid that if I wore shoes like that, my ankles would snap in half... I own 1 pair of heels and the last time I wore them was to my wedding nearly 6 years ago... they are black and funny enough have an 'Asian' print on them (a sign I guess)... hehe... I must be different to alot of girlies... give me runners and I am a happy camper...
Wow, the food looks really fun there. And those are definitely some priceless mall photos!
Love those boots! I love feeling tall...since I'm 5 ft 4", and all.....:-)
What fun!!! That breakfast looks sooooo yummy!!!!
Yummy! I've never been to Cora's (never even heard of them, to be honest. Maybe they don't have them in my neck of the woods), but man that looks like some good eatin' :)
Love the pictures of Danny at the mall. Looks like you guys were having a fun time!
If I wore shoes that high, my feet would be KILLING me by the end of the day. I totally understand what you mean, though. I'm only 5'1", so being able to look other's in the eye is something that doesn't happen much with me!
Cora is DELISH! Once in a while treat.
Looks like a fun night and love the smokin' hot boots!
Keep smilin!
LOVE Cora's... but only go when the folks are in town to pick up the bill LOL N
Those boots are the bomb. I need a pair badly!
Just stopped by to say Hi, found your blog from Deb's.
Never heard of "Cora's"...will have to check it out.
The fruit cup looks so delicious! We don't have a Cora's here :(
