Post Storm Update

Just dropping in quickly to let you all know that the storm has passed and we escaped with out damage at our house. We ended up being one of the lucky ones in NS and we kept our power all night. We have lots of leaves and broken branches in our yard but we feel very glad that is the worst of our damage. There are many others with a lot worse damage. I have a slideshow of pictures that will show you some of the harm the storm has caused around our area.

Glad to hear that all was fine at your house. Weird thing... I was in a ship going around that storm and a few days later you are getting the same thing. In 2005 we had two hurricanes back to back... so, what you are seeing now... that is what we saw with the first one... the second just made the damage from the first worse... so, I feel your pain here. Take care... and glad you are all fine.

I am very glad to hear that you are safe. Storms are can be very scary. We don't have storms like that here in Northern California. The pictures are unbelievable.

Glad to hear you are okay. Since I grew up on the Ms coast and still have family there, I know how scary these storms can be. Thanks for the comments on my blog by the way.

Catching up on reading your blog. Glad you didn't have any serious damages. Noel skirted by us and was not very strong near Florida. Hope you needed the rain!

Your time is very near... we will visit often.
