Secret Revealed

Last week we received our secret pal gift in the mail, it was so well worth the wait! What an amazing package of gifts we received! In the picture you can see the cutest pair of ladybug jammies and a stuffed ladybug too. I have decided that the stuffed ladybug deserves a spot on my desk at work so I can see it every day. Larry absolutely loved, loved, loved the Footprints plaque. The books are super and we were very happy to add them to our ever-growing collection.



Our secret pal revealed herself this time and I was so excited to see that Norma was my secret pal! Norma was the secret pal that we bought for in our very first exchange. Thank you so very much for all the thought and time you spent buying us just the perfect gift each and every exchange. I appreciated all the small details of personalized handmade cards and lovely wrapping paper. It was certainly a pleasure getting to know you during this exchange and I hope we will stay in contact.

Norma, I know you are dealing with some very difficult things right now. You are in my thoughts often and I pray that you can find peace as time passes. Take care and keep in touch.

Secret Pal Thanks!

Our secret pal gift arrived on Thursday but our group always picks one day to open our gifts together, so I had to wait until Saturday. One minute after midnight on Friday, I was ripping open our box!! How exciting to see that everything was wrapped so pretty with ribbon and what looked like homemade paper. What a very crafty secret pal we have! There was even a handmade card!

We received a beautiful Precious Moments picture frame that I absolutely adore. Obviously my secret pal is very observant because I collect Precious Moments. We also received the year of the rat stamp, a fun book called “Where Do Kisses Come From?” and a beautiful Sarah’s Angels nightlight. Larry also received his own special gift, a Montreal Canadian’s key chain!

Many thanks to our secret pal for the wonderful gifts. We received 2 Christmas placemats, a hat and bib set, a gingerbread house candleholder, a beautiful Christmas ornament that says “Believe in Miracles” and the cutest little Christmas dress.

This is our last secret pal swap before we switch pals, so this month our secret pal was revealed…our wonderful pals were Angie & Andy Parr. THANK YOU for all the amazing gifts you have sent us over the last few months. This month was no exception to the gifting frenzy. We received an adorable Old Navy Halloween shirt, vanilla air freshener and a bottle of my new favourite hand soap from Bath & Body Works. My favourite thing this time was the cute little board book, “This is NOT a Pumpkin”. We love everything, thank you! You have been great secret pals!
